It started with the preparation of bride and groom that showed no stress of the big day. The ceremony at the “Najświętszego Serca Jezusowego” church in Piotrków Trybunalski started in the evening at 6pm. Priest has shown a big understanding of photography profession and blessed myself saying “Do what you have to do and take great pictures for the couple to treasure forever”. Joanna and  Jakub that carried a wedding rings and roses on the way out made ceremony even more special. Wishes have brought us to the reception where the couple with family and friends had a great fun taking part in some specially prepared party games for the night and delicious meals that allowed everyone to enjoy stronger drinks till the morning hours. You could not be bored for a second.

It was a celebration in the full meaning of this word that lasted with the old polish tradition for two days.

I would like from this point to thank Kasia and Robert along with their family for the warm welcome and great care showed during my few days stay with them – I felt like a family member.

Spędziłem wspaniały czas z Kasią i Robertem fotografując ich ślub w Polsce.

Przygotowania przebiegały w wyjątkowym spokoju, oboje nie pokazywali ani troszkę zdenerwowania.
Ceremonia w kościele rozpoczęła się o 18tej. Ksiądz wykazał się zrozumieniem profesji fotografa i jedyną jego uwagą było “Zrób piękne zdjęcia aby młodzi mieli wspaniałą pamiątkę”.
Dwoje dzieciaczków Asia oraz Jakub podających obrączki oraz szpaler z róż dodały ceremonii wyjątkowego charakteru.
Pełne uczuć i wzruszeń życzenia poprowadziły nas na przyjęcie, gdzie wspólnie wśród rodziny i przyjaciół, gier i zabaw oraz pysznych posiłków i alkoholu starym polskim zwyczajem młodzi bawili się do białego rana.

Przy tej okazji chciałbym również podziękować Kasi i Robertowi oraz ich rodzinom za ciepłe przyjęcie i opiekę w trakcie tych kilku dni spędzonych z nimi – czułem się jak prawdziwy członek rodziny.

Moja aplikacja o dołączenie do grupy Foto Pro na Forum Reporterów Ślubnych została zaakceptowana. Cieszę się – jest to pewnego rodzaju wyróżnienie. Nie każdy fotograf ślubny może się tam dostać. Po zgłoszeniu chęci dołączenia do grupy specjalna komisja rekrutacyjna sprawdzała poziom moich umiejętności w dokumentowaniu dnia ślubu. Z przyjemnością poznam innych świetnych fotografów, z którymi będę dzielić doświadczenia i pomysły.
