There’s been a lot of different conversations over the last few years about how CDs and DVDs are easy to get damaged. The size and shape also does not help to carry them around. The solution came from Zack Arias while watching his Studio Lighting Workshop on Creative Live a while ago. He was the first photographer I have heard delivering his photographs on USB sticks and I thought it was brilliant idea.

The idea had to wait unfortunately as in the same time I was working or refreshing branding of my business that I will share in details with you shortly…

Happily I can say more now as they’re here…
Each USB flash drive has my business logo imprinted on and comes along with the storage tin. So not only you can take it with you in your bag now but will also fit into your pocket.
They are not only smaller, lighter, faster, rewritable and are more durable in comparison to CDs/DVDs, but also photographs and any other data stored on them is impervious to scratches and dust!

Aren’t they pretty…?

I know it has been a while since I posted anything here. I apologize all of you, especially my fabulous couples which are waiting for their photographs.
So many unexpected things happened in my life recently. Some of them good, some of them bad, but this is live and I had to face it.

In between taking care of my family abroad /my mom and her health problems/, lifestyle sessions, weddings and post-processing I attended some photography workshops. It is crucial to me to grow and deliver better, stronger images for my clients.

The last one I was on took place in Poland with Tomasz Tomaszewski – amazing photojournalist. He started his career with polish magazines, in 1992 Tomaszewski’s work received honorable mention in the magazine news category of the Washington Journalism Review (now the American Journalism Review) awards. His pictures have appeared in international publications including Stern, Paris Match, GEO, Tim. From 20 years working in cooperation with National Geographic.

The main thing I wanted to say is: I’m back working hard and will be posting all recent work I have done so keep visiting…

Exactly one year ago on 1st January this blog was born. From that moment many things happens in my private and photographic life.
Along with this blog I have developed my website. In this year blog stays the same with a few cosmetics touch ups, but I have a new website, actually two websites I invite you to visit.
Both sites was made by professional web designer Jarosław Drzyzga – www.iactiv.pl that I highly recommend. Full professionalism, taking care of a little details but most of all patience of an angel :)
First website is dedicated to documentary wedding photography. Second – to lifestyle portrait photography – is getting final touches and will be launched shortly. I will keep you updated.
From this place I would like to Thank a few people that have played a big part in my 2009 and had a big impact on my personal and photographic journey.
I would like to start from my couples, clients, people that trusted me and let me be a part in the most important moments in their life.
To my dearest and nearest wife Beata and daughter Maya.
Again and always thanks to my photographer friends who are sharing with me their knowledge  and time. I have to count here a few very special to me people:

Witam wszystkich w Nowym Roku!

Dokładnie rok temu 1go stycznia 2009 uruchomiłem oficjalnie tego bloga. Od tamtej pory bardzo wiele wydarzyło się w moim życiu, tak prywatnym jak i fotograficznym.
Wraz z powstaniem bloga rok temu, powstała nowa strona. W tym roku blog ten sam, z lekkimi przeróbkami kosmetycznymi, strona natomiast nowa, a właściwie dwie strony, na które serdecznie zapraszam.
Obie strony wykonane zostały przez Jarosława Drzyzgę –  www.iactiv.pl, którego z całego serca polecam. Pełen profesjonalizm, dbałość o szczegóły i przede wszystkim anielska cierpliwość ;)
Pierwsza z nich poświęcona fotografii ślubnej. Druga strona jest poświęcona fotografii portretowej i właśnie otrzymuje ostatnie szlify, dam znać jak tylko będzie działać.
Z tego miejsca chciałbym podziękować kilku osobom, które odegrały bardzo ważną rolę w 2009 roku i wpłynęły nie tylko na mój rozwój osobisty ale także fotograficzny.
Zacznę od moich wspaniałych par, klientów, osób, które mi zaufały i pozwoliły stać się częścią tak ważnych dla nich chwil.
Mojej wspaniałej żonie Beacie i córce Mayi.
Po raz kolejny przyjaciołom fotografom, którzy dzielili się swoją wiedzą i czasem, muszę tutaj wymienić kilka szczególnych dla mnie osób:

Zakończę ten nie krótki wywód dziękując wszystkim, których tutaj nie wymieniłem – przyjaciołom, rodzinie, fotografom na całym świecie, którzy mnie inspirują i pomagają podążać właściwą drogą.

The simple answer is because people are stealing photographs. I know it is brutal but it’s truth, unfortunately :(

I attended some photography workshops in my origin country – Poland.
I  learned that a lot of polish photographers and friends are visiting my blog and website.
That is why I decided to start writing posts in two languages. In english and polish.

Also my new website that I am creating at the moment will be available to view and read in english and polish.
I will tell you first when it is ready…

Ostatnie kilka miesięcy dało mi do myślenia…

Uczestniczyłem w kilku warsztatach fotograficznych w kraju mojego pochodzenia – Polsce.
Zauważyłem, że sporo polskich fotografów jak i moich przyjaciół odwiedza mojego bloga i stronę internetową.
Dlatego podjąłem decyzję, że od tej chwili posty na blogu będą pisane w obu językach. W angielskim i polskim.

Także moja nowa strona internetowa, nad którą właśnie pracuję będzie dostępna w języku angielskim i polskim.
Moim czytelnikom dam znać jako pierwszym jak będzie gotowa…

Mam nadzieję, że wszystkim się spodoba.
